18 years and stronger then ever

Yesterday we celebrated the 18th birthday of our little corner of happiness.

Who would have thought that the cave underneath Csepreghy 2 would become a beacon of pleasure and respire for local and visiting gay men in Budapest?

But it did, slowly, gently. First as the new kid on the block, a little rough, a little dirty. The kind of place you might visit but that you'd prefer people did not know you had been too. And then slowly, as it grew, and became more comfortable, bigger, sexier, then you became an 'incontournable' as the french would say of anyone coming to Budapest and wanting to feel the company of other men. For many, the highlight of their monthly visit to the capital, for others, a regular stop the way we have a burger at Mc Donald.

So voila, you've turned 18. You're all grown up, you've become you're own person, and we like who you have become. Accepting of all, strict as well, because some order is always necessary. We hope that you will be here for us for many years to come.

Dear Magnum Sauna, as Abba said it so well:

Thank you for the music, the songs you're bringing
Thanks for all the joy your're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to us
